The façade design of John Richmond District carries the brand’s aesthetic vocabulary into the building’s exterior in a way that is identifiable and distinctive without being disruptive to the neighbourhood. The podium level of the development is designed to animate the street and create an active and welcoming ground floor experience that benefits both residents and the surrounding community. Retail, café, and community-facing uses at podium level are planned to contribute to the pedestrian life of the immediate neighbourhood rather than turning inward in a way that disconnects from the community around them.
