Dubai South Properties has given Al Kharafi Construction Company a contract worth AED 1.50 billion to construct the South Bay project’s third, fourth, and fifth stages.
According to a press release, the company started the project’s fourth phase, expected to be completed in the first quarter (Q1) of 2027.
Details of the Fourth Phase
There will be 138 units in the fourth phase, consisting of five seven-bedroom mansions and a limited number of three-, four-, and five-bedroom villas.

Overview of the South Bay Project
South Bay is situated subsequent to Expo Road within the residential district of Dubai South. Approximately 800 villas and townhouses, 200 lavish waterfront mansions, a lagoon spanning one kilometre, over three kilometres of a waterfront promenade replete with cafes, and numerous beaches are all planned features of the project.
Among the alternative facilities of the project are a clubhouse, modern-day fitness centres, verdant parks, a retail centre, a famend spa, children’ clubs, waterparks, swimming swimming pools, a lake park, and personal seashores.
Announcement of Logistics Facilities
Plans to build Grade A logistics facilities at Dubai South’s Logistics District were announced earlier in April by Aldar Properties and Dubai South.
